2006 Porsche Cayenne

Introduced in 2003 to fill in as an SUV, the 2006 Porsche Cayenne is a hot mean machine that comes in three engine variants – a six valve base model, a 340 horsepower V-8 generating Cayenne S, and the Cayenne Turbo that punches out 450 hp on its twin-turbo V-8 engine.

For 2006, the Turbo gets new air inlets in the front, a double set of tailpipes, and power domes on its hood. This model can also be adjusted to six different ground clearances thanks to its pneumatic suspension. The series is available in varying tires from 17-20” wheels.

Of course, performance varies with different models which are priced at very different price points from each other. However, one thing remains constant. The drive is superb, and it has among the best handling patterns in this range.

An optional power kit is available for the 2006 Porsche Cayenne pushes the engine to its limit, extracting a whopping 500 hp from its otherwise 450 hp engine.
